ARC Centres of Excellence

Overview

ARC Centres of Excellence (CoEs) allow high quality researchers to maintain and develop Australia’s international standing in research areas of national priority. CoEs facilitate a high level of collaboration between universities and other organisations, both in Australia and overseas. CoEs are key forums for researcher-driven, transformational and collaborative research. Therefore the University provides significant support, financial and otherwise, to CoE applicants with the potential to build capacity and critical mass in key areas of research.

Due to the funding significance and prestige of the scheme, the CoE round operates a highly competitive selection process. Only CoEs with the highest quality research, leadership and management succeed.
