Overview
The McCoy Project established the McCoy Seed Fund to support the development of collaborative research projects between Museums Victoria and the University of Melbourne. The fund seeks projects that are likely to be developed into an ARC Linkage Project or will attract follow-on funding from another source and will be sustainable beyond the life of this project.
Funding
A small number of grants between $5,000 and $20,000 will be awarded annually. Projects will have to demonstrate the potential to have a significant impact beyond academic and the museum environment.
Eligibility
Applicants must be researchers from the University of Melbourne and Museums Victoria. Applications must include at least one researcher from each institution. For more information please see the guidelines and application form on the Supporting Documents tab.
Other McCoy Funding Schemes
The McCoy Project also offers support for PhD research projects that align with the objectives of the McCoy Project and its research themes. Please see the McCoy Project PhD Scholarships page for application forms and guidelines.
