ARC National Competitive Grants Program review
Overview
The Australian Research Council (ARC) released a Discussion Paper titled "A New Plan for ARC-Funded Research" on 25 February 2025, proposing significant reforms to the National Competitive Grants Program (NCGP). Key proposed changes include a complete redesign of the scheme structure, streamlined administrative processes, increased focus on generating new knowledge, and enhanced opportunities for early career researchers.
