Workshop 6: Introduction to phylogeny
This workshop will introduce the basic theory and applications of phylogenetics. Topics covered will include phylogenetics basics, sequence evolution models, and distance-based, maximum likelihood and Bayesian methods for phylogeny reconstruction. There will also be some practical exercises in R.
The event is free and limited to 30 participants.
Pre-requisite: R programming, see prior workshop ‘Intro to R’
