Virtual workshop: Mathematical Frameworks for Integrative Analysis of Emerging Biological Data Types
With Aedin Culhane (Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health) & Elana Fertig (John Hopkins University), MIG Group leader Kim-Anh ran a virtual workshop with the Banff International Research Station (BIRS) on 14 – 19 June 2020.
The workshop attendees were guided through three hackathon studies focusing on various multimodal and multi omics single cell emerging challenges. Keynote speakers, followed by hackathon data analysts, brainstorm sessions and a debrief followed. The meeting started at 7am EST (US West coast), 12pm BST (Europe) and 9PM AEST (Australia) for ~ half a day each day. Between 40 – 50 participants attended, the event was also live streamed.
