Visiting PhD Student heads home to Brazil
We were lucky enough to have Tatiana Hessab de Castro (Brazilian PhD student) spend 7 months with us, working with David Balding.
Message from Tatiana:
It was a pleasure to visit the University of Melbourne and interact with MIG members. The research opportunity, in addition to the atmosphere of the group made for a very positive experience. I was delighted to be part of Professor David Balding's team, a leader in the field of Forensic Genetics. This opportunity to learn and reflect on critical issues has allowed me to significantly improve the research I started in Brazil. I would like to thank you all for making my time in Melbourne memorable.
