As part of its engagement activity, CoVA manages the Norma Redpath House and Studios, providing residencies to a number of Australian and international artists and writers each year. While there is no open application process, the Norma Redpath Residency supports the programs of CoVA partners, including The Wheeler Centre, the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Gertrude Contemporary and CoVA’s own research programs at the University of Melbourne.
From 2017-2019, the studio program was geenrously supported by the Copyright Agency Cultural Fund
