Mark Dustin is Senior Lecturer in Art, and Head of Drawing and Printmaking, at the Victorian College of the Arts. His own art practice is an ongoing inquiry into popular culture and media, the construction of the image at pixel level and an exploration of established definitions of art and print production. He has been a finalist in the New Zealand Painting and Printmaking Awards(2018, 2016, 2010), Geelong Acquisitive Print Awards (2015) and the North Shore City Art Awards. Recent exhibitions include The Unstable Image, Fox Galleries (2018), New Dawn, Fox Galleries (2018), 8th International Printmaking Biennial, Portugal (2016), Small Works, Trestle Gallery, Brooklyn (2016), Yilan International Invitational Printmaking Exhibition, Yilan Museum of Art, Taiwan (2015), Lie of the Land, Seed Gallery, Auckland New Zealand (2015).
