Elyssia Bugg

Elyssia Bugg is a PhD candidate in Art History at the University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on theories of performativity as they relate to early sculptural works from the Arte Povera movement. She has presented on this subject in forums including the 2021 American Association of Italian Studies Conference and the 2019 Art Association of Australia and New Zealand Conference. She is also the co-organiser of the Archipelagic Encounters Symposium, with CoVA, and LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore.
