Dr Leon Marvell teaches and researches film theory and history, art theory and history, cyberculture and digital culture. A regular contributor to art and media journals, he is the author of The Physics of Transfigured Light: The Imaginal Realm and the Hermetic Foundations of Science (2016) and co-author of Endangering Science Fiction Film (AFI Film Readers.)
