Max Delany is the Artistic Director and CEO of the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA). Previously he has been Senior Curator, Contemporary Art, at the National Gallery of Victoria (2012-2016) where he oversaw significant curatorial projects like Andy Warhol / Ai Wei Wei (2015-2016) and Melbourne Now (2013-2014). As Director of the Monash University Museum of Art (2004-2012) he oversaw the development of MUMA’s architectural premises on the Caulfield campus, he has also been a Director of Gertrude Contemporary a curator at Heide Museum of Modern Art. Since 2011 Max has also held the position of adjunct Associate Professor, Curatorial Practice in the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Monash University.
