Writing + Concepts 2017

Art + Australia is delighted to present this second volume of Writing + Concepts - a vital and innovation addition to A+A Publishing's 'Documents Series'. Art + Australia, under the auspices of the Centre of Visual Art, is again partnering with RMIT University to support and develop this exciting publication.

Writing + Concepts is a public and recorded lecture series conceieved by Jan van Schaik. The lecture program and published volumes explore the relationships between the process of writing and the development of social, political and philosophical questions within contemporary cultural practice as well as some of the many ways in which writing as a part of artistic practice is negotiated by some of Australia's most significant creative practitioners.
