Biography
As the Finance Officer at the Melbourne Centre for Cities, Paola has an excellent understanding of legislative requirements relevant to grant compliance, and is experienced in stakeholder engagement, financial management and developing policies and procedures according to the organisation’s accounting practices.
Having managed a range of financial portfolios, Paola has extensive experience in accounting and operations management in both the non-profit and corporate sectors.
Throughout her work in multilateral organisations, she has overseen the logistical, administrative and financial elements of strategic project planning, including a range of project activities including designing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting.
Paola has managed Global projects across countries in Africa, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific as well as locally funded projects with complex multi-donor contractual requirements. She understands that the financial and administrative management has advantages, none more essential than providing positive impacts being implemented to our society through grant funding.
Paola has a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from RMIT University, Bachelor’s in Engineering from Austral University, and Certificate in Accounting.
