Biography

Jennifer is a knowledge translation PhD candidate with the Monash Sustainable Development Institute working in partnership with the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation. Her research focuses on applying principles of behavioural science to foster evidence-based decision making in public health. As important actors both locally and globally in improving health and wellbeing, Jennifer’s research focuses on local governments and the role of partnerships to facilitate greater application of research evidence to population health interventions.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology Honours) from Swinburne University of Technology. Her career has spanned a number of different industries, including vocational training and education, as well as support services for a mental health care provider. She has also contributed to research in public health and social inclusion and provides teaching assistance in undergraduate and masters courses on leadership and business in Sustainable Development Goals.
